Hunting Sunday…

The prompts this week for Scavenger Hunt Sunday were pretty darn difficult for me.  But they were also fun.   I’ve managed to come up with something for each and here they are:

Love:  This is the face of unconditional love.  Any of you who are dog lovers know what I mean.  One thing that is great about Olive (and pugs in general, I think) is that she is an equal opportunity lover.  She loves me as much as she loves Greg and she loves our kids when they are around as much as she loves us.  She even loves strangers who come to the door.  A curly-tailed, bug-eyed bundle of love…that’s our Olive.

Duplicated:  Here are two Sharpies for the Cure.  I’ve had too many friends who have had to deal with breast cancer and wish it were as easy as buying Sharpies to find a cure.

Trend or Trending:  I figure this meant to suggest something that was trending on Twitter.  I tried Twitter for about three months a couple years ago but found that I had a hard time keeping my tweets to the allotted length.  I talk too much.  So I don’t tweet anymore or go on Twitter.  I’m also not into pop culture so would probably not know who the trend setters are these days, anyhow.  I don’t watch American Idol or Dancing with the Stars.  Heck, I didn’t even know who Adele was until she won the Grammy last week and she was all over the news.  But I do have the Dictionary.com app on my Droid.  And they have a list of trending words.  Words…that’s my kind of trend.  So that’s where this came from.

Paper:  Most paper comes from trees.  Save the trees.  Recycle please.  Earth Day Every Day.

Plastic:  I can’t believe what a hard time I had coming up with something plastic.  I mean, everywhere you look, there’s something plastic.  Duh!  I didn’t need to look any further than my camera bag.  Wish I had thought to dust them first.

Love your pictures! Plastic is so creative (and you have a lot of lenses...jealous). Love love love your pug...so cute! Ours is named Cringle because Santa brought him to us. He's Cringle the Christmas dog!

Olive looks so sweet. We own a pug too and I agree with you about their love equality. Everyone who comes to our door is greeted with such enthusiam. She is a terrible guard dog. :)

You did a fantastic job despite the challenge of some of the words. Olive is so sweet I imagine everyone who encounters her falls in love as well (we have cats, but a new neighbor has a dog that apparently likes my belly scratches and greets me every time I arrive home - and who can resist his adoring eyes).

Wonderful series.
Oh your Pug - Love is so cute. How do you get her to sit still. Our pug never sits down long enough to get a decent photo.
Loved your Paper Shot.

As a dog owner, I just love your first shot. I also really like the shot of your lens covers (and am really jealous that you have so many!).

LOL About the Adele thing; I may have heard of her, but really been out of the music scene since the turn of the millennium; still into 60s-90s brand of rock =]

I love the photo of Olive; I may not really be into dogs, I'm more of into cats, but I still understand how it feels to love a pet and have them be close to you and your family.

Such a lovely entry =]

I had to laugh when I read you didn't know who Adele was until you saw her on the Grammy Awards. :) I laughed because I didn't know who she was either.

i love that shot of Olive and the just a hint of her tail, really great shot, you found something great for each subject. count me in with had no idea who Adele was and still don't, maybe you can tell me. i don't watch the award shows because i have no idea who the people are that receive them, the ones i know are all either dead or really old.

Popping back by as you are set to (no-reply) on comments.
It was nice to know that your Pug is also hard to get a good shot of. Ours is a Black Pug, I got some shots of her this week I plan to post. She's being held but as usual her tongue is hanging out of her mouth!
