Compare and contrast…

So my daughter Carrie and I went out for a ride in the country last Friday afternoon.  We saw the same things and took many of the same pictures.  I thought it would be interesting to see how we see the same things differently.

These are indeed 'different pictures'. Like that hers provide the background of what might be a story; while yours concentrate on the subject. Both great.

Very nice shots of the mailboxes. Everyone has their own way of seeing things but both are very good.

We have different cameras. Mine is a Nikon D90. Hers is a Panasonic Lumix. We did have fun.

Nice country pics...I love the row of mailboxes sometimes seen...they tell quite a story.

Both of you took great shots! It's amazing how a slight change in perspective or angle can make a scene look completely different. She definitely has your talent!

I love doing this with my son - it is always intriguing to see his perspective on the same thing. Smartly done by both of you.

Amazing how subjects can change if photographed by another perspective or colour. You can very well master this :-)
First one makes me think about the wide field between the post boxes and the homes of the pobox owners!

Proof that although we may see the same things, we see them differently. :)

What a wonderful idea. I am going to need to do this with Eloise soon. I love the two takes on the different scenes. Such a unique post. Your daughter is becoming quite the photographer. genie

it's fascinating to see how different the same thing looks when photographed by two different people....
