Got up this morning to our first real snowfall. It has been coming down steadily all day long but hasn't really amounted to much...about an inch or so so far. I have nothing more to say about it except that it is beautiful. I will let the photos I took this morning speak for themselves.

Snow makes everything look magical. I love the lichen on the trees, too. Keep warm!
The light in these snow photos is so beautiful. We had a light snow last night that coated everything but I didn't get out to take pictures. The first photo is almost magical.
A lovely winter wonderland indeed :)

And they speak eloquently! Such silent beauty!
That first one is absolutely breath-taking beautiful. Burrr!
After 2+ days of rain here! it was great to see your snow images! Barbara. We do enjoy and miss snow, but realize that for many it can be a nuisance especially at the holiday season. Still, there is nothing quite as beautiful as freshly fallen snow on trees.
