I'm hooking up with Good Fences today on The Run*A*Round Report.
Here are some fences from the visit that Carrie and I took to Old Sturbridge Village last week. There are loads of fences there. I guess they have to keep the sheep and oxen in and out.
They have town fences:
The Salem Towne House |
The lawyer's office. with the General Store in the background. |
And they have country fences:
That's the school house in the background with the kiln behind that. |
This is the Small House that I mentioned in the last post. |

What a pretty village! Lovely collection of houses and fences.. Wishing you a happy weekend!
i like them all, but love that last shot of the rolling terrain and rugged fence. :)

Beautiful places! That split rail is really nice!
Gosh, these are all great fences, but I think the lawyer's office fence is my fave. The split rail is always a winner, too. Nice collection there!
I love it! The houses, fences, rural look and the age of it all. Beautiful!

LOVE the third one....and your header, WoW, i don't know how you do that but i LOVE it!!
Oh yes you found some great fences. I really like the rustic country fence. I also liked the pretty white fence in front of that lovely home.
Nice assortment! Reminds me of Greenfield Village near Detroit. Very historical.
Such a pretty collection of fences. I am partial to rail fences--love them!
I love the split rail fence the best too!
Stone fences are some of my favorites. You have quite the collection here.
I sure like the wood fence...although the rest are so neat and tidy....such pretty images...would you like my snow?
