Autumn!


The stripped and shapely

Maple grieves
The ghosts of her
Departed leaves.


The ground is hard,

As hard as stone.
The year is old,
The birds are flown.



And yet the world,

In its distress,
Displays a certain
Loveliness---

Beautiful photos! You caught some gorgeous shots of the season. I like the verse, too. We've had so much rain here lately, there's not much opportunity for taking photos outside. I'm hoping to get some this weekend.
