I’ve been feeling completely uninspired lately. So to help me out of my funk, I went out to
visit my daughter Carrie and we went for a ride out in the country in Western
Massachusetts. On our ride, we came
across this gorgeous yellow barn on a back road.
Riding the back roads in the country is a
sure way to get inspiration.

your yellow barn is prettier than my yellow barn today. :)
Amazingly bright ! Wonderful, that it is taken that much care of.
Please have a good Tuesday.
I feel your 'funk'. I figured perhaps if I could just get to the Farmer's Market, or hunt for barns with my sister that the creative button might magically flip back on and all would be good in the world. But it didn't. I took lots and lots of pictures but felt blase about the whole process. I've concluded it is the heat. It sucks all the fun out of it for me. Hope the funk goes away. For what it's worth - your yellow barn is very charming.
I think country roads really CAN lift your spirits!
Yellow barns are rare here and I suspect they are there too.
Great looking barn and a good reason to drive the back roads. You never know what might be around the next corner.
What a pretty barn. Yellow is an unusual colour for barns. Great shot!
That's pretty awesome! I have to say this is the first yellow barn I've ever seen! I hope the trip helped inspire you...I enjoy your photography!
That is a beautiful barn!!
What a treasure you've found. Guaranteed to get you out of the creative funk. Hope every effort is made to preserve this beauty. And I wish my house were painted this color.

Very pretty yellow barn! What a great spotting - makes the roaming trips worthwhile, doesn't it!
It almost looks like a church!
simple yet just so perfect for me
reminds me of a church more than a barn. love the color. so cheerful. (:
3rd attempt at leaving this comment!!! YOU WILL GET IT BACK...maybe if I shout at it things will work!!
this is gorgeous and what a great way to spend some mother/daughter time!
And I'll 2nd that! I've been uninspired lately, too, but was finally able to get out of the house this past weekend & it definitely helps... but we're no Massachusetts, so the scenery is quite different! LoL! =)
Love it when the date is on these old barns, it's important information! Great barn find & love your editing!!!
Thank you, Barbara =)
I'm glad you and your daughter went for that ride and found this great yellow barn. They are rare. I love driving the back roads because you never know what you might find.
Another yellow barn! I am so stoked! :-)
my first ever viewing of a yellow barn, it looks like it is painted with sunshine. love it.
Amazing! I've never seen a barn in that shade - makes me smile!
You never know what you will find on a country road....this yellow barn is a great find!
It is a real beauty...don't see many yellow barns.
