My dog Olive always does this when she sees the camera coming…
It seems like she is sick of being photographed, like she’s some kind of celebrity or something and is fed up with the paparazzi. Goofy little dog.
So I have to find more cooperative photo subjects. The latest one I found was at on sale at my local supermarket…a bunch of white roses. Beautiful, aren’t they? And they don’t bark and turn their backs.
Another thing I happened on earlier this summer was a misty morning. The conditions have to be just right to get morning light like this. It doesn’t seem to last very long, but this particular morning, I got lucky.

OHHH I LOVE the sunlight beaming down thru the trees like that, gorgeous, just gorgeous! =)
Silly doggy, it's a compliment for people to want to take your pic! heheheee =)
Beeeutiful roses, too... niiice =)
First you have to see the light, then you have to have the realization that you might never see it just this way again, and finally you have to be prepared to capture it. Congratulations on all counts.
Wow, you have so many wonderful shots here, I don't know where to begin. The way you have arranged the rose and lighting in the first flower shot is beautiful. And, those rays of light....WOW!
These are splendid Barb! I particularly like the one with the water and rays
LOL little Olive...boogie Olive, boogie ;)

Thanks for the comments! Yes, I am behind the camera myself so I don't have to be in front of it.
