I have to look at the calendar again and confirm that it is
the middle of March. Can it really be
that we are expecting another snow storm this late in the game?? The answer is, yes, indeed, we are supposed
to get 5 to 8 inches of snow tonight and a wintry mix tomorrow that will
probably freeze it into an unworkable mess.
What can one do? One certainly can’t
fight Mother Nature. Well, the only
thing I can think of doing is to post a few more flower pics that I took in the
Smith College greenhouse and sit back and ride it out.
So here you are.

Oh yes, we have to be content with the inside flowers we can find. These are all just beautiful, orchids...what a fascinating flower!!
Not snow here, but lots of cold rain and overcast skies. The flowers were a welcome diversion, Barbara, and so colorful.
Thanks for sharing more beautiful flower shots. They sure are brightly coloured. I love the one of the green leaf. That storm is headed here tomorrow night and Wed. then we have another one coming Thursday night and Friday! Winter just won't quit.

Well, I see I have to eat my words...this leave is gorgeous in color...I don't think it is necessarily better but it is just as good. And I love the chartreuse orchid...
Wish I had known about this when we lived there. You have had quite the winter. Down here we have had several one inch snows. Kind of becoming a running joke.
