Spring(ish)...

No, I haven’t dropped off the edge of the earth.  After an extremely busy (for me, anyhow) week last week, I managed to pick up a nice head cold and have been rather out of it since Saturday night.  But I appear to be somewhat on the mend today, so I thought I would put out a short post.

We had a little bit of a set-back yesterday on our way to spring when we got a bit of snow overnight.  But it was gone fairly quickly and there are only a few stubborn piles lying around now.

Spring has finally sprung and it was a beautiful day here today.  The pond isn’t completely thawed yet, but it’s just a matter of time.

The rest of the week looks like a quiet one for me so I intend to use it to catch up with the blogging world and to get rid of my stuffed up nose.

Hope you all are doing well!

The third and fourth shots are my favorites! Very nice! I THINK it's safe to say we're finally clear of any more snow. I think.

Great pictures of a taste of spring there Barb. The pug tracks made me smile. :) Glad you are feeling better and hope you have a nice springlike week. Pam

We did a little two-step with the weather this week as well; a dusting of snow followed-up with today's mid-80s. I feel like we're blindly taking aim with a variety of seasons and hoping one sticks. Please let it be something between snow and summer.

PS - sorry about the head cold, and the snow --- but mostly about the head cold. (as for the snow, well, suffering loves company). :)

No snow here, but lots of rain which puts our back yard in mud season mode. Hope the head cold is short-lived.

I love seeing little Olive's tracks. :-) I hope you will soon feel better. We seem to be really in spring here, but you never know!

Feel better soon - spring colds sometimes linger (though it does look as though you've popped back into winter). More snow due here in the mountains of CO over the next several days.
