Random 5 Friday...

I jumped into my Way Back Machine yesterday and went back to Santa Barbara, California, and there abouts where Greg and I spent some time in 2011.  I found five random pics from California that I liked and decided to post them today.  For no particular reason other than I just kind of felt like it.

To go along with the five random photos, I'm also hooking up with Random 5 Friday at A Rural Journal.  Thanks, Nancy!

1)  I was cruising around Pinterest the other day and saw one of my flickr pics pinned.  It was a photo I took of some tile work in Morocco.  At first I didn't realize it was mine and thought, “Oh, someone else has been there.  That’s cool.”  Then I realized it was me who had been there.  I don’t mind that someone pinned my pic, but it’s just kind of funny to see it there pinned by a complete stranger.

2)  It felt a lot like spring here today.

3)  Until the day I die, I will never understand why women wear stiletto heels.

4)  When I write, I almost always finish my sentences.  When I talk, I have a heck of a time finishing a sentence.  What’s up with that?

5)  I stayed up too late reading last night but I finished my book, Black Seconds by Karin Fossum.  I enjoyed it.  I also enjoyed watching Syracuse U beat Indiana in the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament, which is really why I was up so late.  Go Orange!

Love the random five photos - especially the 2nd water lily one, there is something about the colors. It's funny that you ran across your own photo on Pinterest, and quite a compliment, as well. I like the way stiletto heals look, but that's probably because I'm tall and have never worn them - I guess I feel deprived or something. Have a nice weekend!

Gorgeous photos! I love Karin Fossum's books. The Water's Edge is my fave so far.

Stiletto heels? I can't walk in 'em to save my life. So i stick to ballet flats and sneakers. :)

that happened to me as well. some one pinned a barn pic that i took - as you said it give you a weird feeling but then you wonder?? i am happy but yet i am not so sure?? ( :

maybe like me when you are talking you tend to think of many things, instead of thinking of one issue. i know i get side tracked so easily.

Happy Easter!

Stunning photos. I especially like the first one. The flower is so delicate!

Stiletto heels? None for me.

I'm pulling for Duke against Michigan State tonight.

Water lilies always amaze me -- and make me smile. These are lovely Barb!

And women do some pretty silly things in the name of "beauty." I find the older I get, the less of those silly things I do. :)

it was as always very impressive

To start - that first water lily shot is so Monet like - stunning. 2. stilettos are supposed to be looked at and not worn - some women will never get it right. c) the older I get, the more my written word resembles my spoken word and they are both getting closer to that mess going on inside my head.

Have a great weekend my friend!

When I die, I will honestly have been able to say I have never worn stiletto heels!

Also, not sure how to check to see what other photos from your flickr acct has been pinned, but you can check for ones from your blog...
